Missouri Basketweavers Guild - 2010 Annual Convention

Join us August, 5-8, 2010 in St. Louis for “Weaving MO Madness”. Be sure to mark the dates on your calendar. You don’t want to miss this great weaving event in Missouri. The convention will be held at the Holiday Inn Viking Center at Lindbergh and Watson Road in St. Louis. Please contact the hotel for reservations by calling (314) 821-6600 or 1 (800) 682-6338 and identify yourself as part of the MBG Convention to obtain the special rate of $84.00 (plus tax) per night.

First day of registration is May 15th. Class preferences postmarked on or before May 15th will be randomly assigned by each class preference number. Be sure to select and list several alternate class choices on your registration so that you can be assigned a class. Listing only one selection will not guarantee assignment for that time slot. It will delay the class assignment process and limit your choices of remaining open classes should your choice fill before your random assignment comes up. Classes requests received after the postmarked date of May 15^th will be assigned on first come basis and subject to availability.

This year’s convention offers some new and exciting features:

New logo items, such as a nightshirt and a fleece vest and jacket as well as the traditional items.
A variety of vendors will offer the latest in basketry related products.
We will have some new and exciting items in the raffle room, including at least one gift certificate from Arrowmount School of Arts and Crafts.
Market Place promises to be especially valuable—watch out for the “wicker wonders”!

To make this year’s convention especially memorable and we need many items for the raffle room, volunteer raffle, and the welcome bags.
